Description

The Stonecutters Cottages sit atop Doonagore, a spectacular high point which has views to the Atlantic Ocean, the Aran Islands, the Burren and the music village of Doolin. It is situated on a quiet country road with nothing but gorse and fresh air.
The cottage dates from just after the famine and was lovingly restored a few years ago. Staying here is like going back in time.
The renovation preserved as much of the original character of the cottage as we could and we have bought many period pieces to keep the cottage authentic.

Important Information

The cottage has off-road driveway parking and access to the a washer-dryer in the outside shed.
There are picnic benches front and rear.
The cottage has full central heating and a wood burning stove in the lounge.

Cycling is a good option. We have had guests who have stayed at the Cottage on their cycle tour around Ireland. There is a secure shed for bikes to be stored in overnight.
